The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

just fantastic

isn`t it freaking marvelous that on the one day i forget to bring the needle and thread (which i keep in my bag all the time but took out yesterday while cleaning my bag) my blouse`s button comes off? best thing to happen to me today. it gets better...now i have to wear my jacket, zipped all the way up to my neck, and can`t go out for lunch, unless i want to look ridiculous bundled up in my jacket on this freaking hot day. sweet.

i appreciate your concern, sis. and at the risk of putting an end to your amusement on my behalf, no, that was not the reason. i was too lazy to handwash the blouse and put it inside the washing machine. i noticed the button was threatening to fall off while i was ironing, but it was just one of those days when i was simply too lazy to sew it back. and now i am paying the price.

Isn't there a safety pin or friendly neighbour at your workplace to lend some help?

That's so sad! But it could be worse. It could have been fly-related.

It would also have been worse if it happened and you didn't notice, spending the day flashing people. See? At least you realized what happened.

Great cartoon, by the way. They never cease to crack me up!
