My sweetie knows how much I love chocolates.
Seriously, leave me on an island , give me tons of chocolate to last for years, books to read, and my sweetie to fish and pamper me, and I will be contended. It will be nice if my parents and sis can pop in once in a while, too.
Anyway, he definitely knows my absolute adoration for chocolates. So, when he was at the airport just now, on a business dealing, he called me up…
Sweetie: Hey, I’m at the airport. Do you want chocolates?
Me: Yes! Yes! (Imagine a puppy drooling over a tasty, fat looking piece of drumstick. That was me).
Sweetie: Ok. What chocolate do you want?
Me: Dark chocolate.
Sweetie: Dark chocolate? Anything else? (Can I love him more??)
Me: Dark, pure Belgium chocolate.
Sweetie: Ok. Excuse me, do you have...(voice trailing off as our conversation ended).
So, even though he said “ok” instead of “I love you to eternity and beyond. Bye sweetie and take care” as an end to our conversation, I know he loves me like there is no tomorrow.
And all because he thought of me, at an airport, during his business dealing, upon seeing a chocolate store.

That is such a lovely post. My husband always buys me flowers and I really appreciate them because they are never part of an apology or for an occasion but because he loves me.
