misery loves Angel
Remember angel? With the Jerk?
She quit her job yesterday.
It`s funny, isn`t it. When you think you have gone thorough the worst, something else comes along and the other matter pales in comparison.
Seems to be like Angel is facing the toughest times in her life. I can only hope and pray she comes out as a winner.
Well, here`s the story on why she left her job.
Angel`s immediate manager, a lady, is a lesbian. For the past few months, she has been accusing Angel of spreading rumors about her (the manager) to the other staffs in the office. This lady is also known to be a racist, and she doesn’t like Angel`s cultural background.
Angel has been tolerating unfair treatments and false accusations from this lady for nearly a year now. Seems like the abuse got worse in these past couple of months. Why didn`t she report to higher authority? Don`t ask me, cause I have no freaking idea.
The dam finally broke last week, what with her coping with the devastating news of her ex-boyfriends`s sudden marriage (sudden to her, that is).
Well, Angel was planning to move to the city anyway, and she was looking for a job, but to quit with a 24 hours of notice before securing another job is a bit rash, don’t you think? But who am I to judge whether her decision is right or wrong, when I’m not the one in her shoes?
It`s not easy to get a job nowadays, what with the sea of unemployed university/college graduates. Angel is a high school leaver, and she has to face tough competition among those with higher academic qualification for a job.
Angel will be coming to the city next week. Hopefully things will work out well for her.
~Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement -and we will make the goal.~
