The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

home in 2008

We booked a house!

Well, a condo, actually. Now I can look forward to having my own home! The only setback is it is expected to be completed only in April 2008. I have never been as eager for the years to pass quickly!

I hope, oh I really really hope it will be completed sooner. The landscaping of the place (or should I say, projected landscaping?!!) is absolutely marvelous. We booked a pool view corner unit. This means I will not be having neighboring balcony with my next door neighbor. Yippee!

The unit is about 1,500 sqf. It has 4 rooms but only 2 bathrooms. Our unit is on the 9th floor. My sweetie and I agreed it will be just perfect for us to begin a family. Of course, I still dream of having my dream huge home in about 8 to 10 years time, but I guess this little condo will do nicely for a start. There are so many facilities available provided for condo residents. 2 tennis courts, 1 badminton court, huge adult pool, kids pool, Jacuzzi, park, child care centre, gym, guard house with enhanced security, barbeque area, gazebos, clubhouse, and yabada yabado dada. LOL.

The whole place has many water elements. Water fountains, water curtains, ponds. According to my religious belief, it is very good indeed.

The furniture in the show unit was from IKEA, and I must say the interior designer/s had a very nice sense of decorating. But it was too contemporary for my taste. I want my home to look homely and cozy.

I have thousands of visions on how it will look like…*sigh*. I am totally in love with my future home!

I purchased a few books on house deco, and have been poring over them like there is no tomorrow. I have almost (about 98%) decided on how the bathroom in the master room will look like. I guess by the time the construction is completed, I will have a complete and clear picture on how my home will look like. I can hardly wait!

And both our parents absolutely love the place as well. All in all, I think we have found the perfect place to call “our home”.

And I’m just so darn happy and excited!

What are your religious beliefs if I may ask?

Congratulations on your good news! Your "little" condo doesn't sound very little with 4 bedrooms though! You will have so much fun and the time will pass quickly. Just keep thinking about furniture and decorations and before you know it, you'll be living there!

Congratulations! I almost had a house in the not so recent past. And all my home decor items are still in boxes packed in my garage and attic, awaiting my discovery of my own new home. It's fun to plan that kind of stuff, even when you're undomestic, as I am. You'll have to share your decorating ideas!

I think you should write a post on hinduism. I know nothing about it really. But that's up to you. Sometimes people tend to be confrontational on such subjects.

Anyway, hope you're have a good day!

Gal if you're looking for a long time investment get your big furnitures elsewhere. Get your knick knacks from IKEA. Their stuff isn't made to last. If you're looking for designs ideas in 3 years time tell me, will send photos :)) I'm linked to the industry :)

visithra: ikea furnitures lack the homely look to my thinking. their deco items are ok. but i was thinking more like lorenzo kind of cozy look, you know? and you are in the interior designing industry? or something like that? i have gone through a few books, and have so many ideas in my head right now, i`m afraid my brain will start protesting soon!

Ahhh my kind of women, me too, I find IKEA more of a fad and so far away from comfort.

I'm linked to all of them - from the designers to the manufacturers. You want ideas visit Pohmay or Kian. Pricey, but solid and your jaws will drop (its that gorgeous) :)))

Lorenzo will last a long time, but I prefer big fabric sofas then leather. I love sleeping in the hall watching Tv. ;p

If you can store them somewhere start buying now (first the idea of how you want it) but get classics so they never run out of fashion. Mod looks are nice but very uncomfortable.

Hi there blog owner! I am searching blogs to find information and sources to help with my website:http://www.horse-lover-gift-ideas-central.com/collector_plate.html My site is fairly new about 8 months old and have a google pr of 3 and get about 50 people a day to visit. My site has clock vintage wall and is all affiliate merchandise.
I have been in MLM companys for the past 8 years offline mainly and have never made a dime. This is a new frontier for my wife and I and don't have very much experience but a friend suggested searching blogs to get ideas about how people sale and also what kind of information they offer their customers and clients. We are begining to make some good money selling clock vintage wall related articles but I also want to offer my customers some quality information to go along with good deals. If you make it to my site and can offer some constructive critisizm I will take it into consideration or if you have some ideas it will be greatly appreciated. Remember we are on a budget and we do all the work ourselves. We have alot to offer in this general area clock vintage wall and building. Thank you for your time.
