yippee!! double yippee!!!
Yesterday, both mine and sweetie`s parents met and discussed our wedding plans! And there are some changes--enough to give me a panic attack last night!!!
My engagement is no longer scheduled for July.
Nope, it has been brought forward to April.
This coming April, I tell ya!!! Yeah, that gives me only about 4 and a half more months to find the perfect rings, sarees, jewellery, accessories, shoes, tone my body, arrange the venue, make a guest list, renovate and furnish my new house, did I tell you I now have only 4 months??
The parents wanted to have the wedding in April as well, but then we decided next December or January would be better. I`ll be a wife by January 2007! And the house--oh, my GOD my house! I haven`t even started the design plans!!!
Phew...I`ve got a busy year ahead of me, that`s for sure.
Oh yeah, I`ve recovered from my panic attack, and am now jumping for joy at the thought of my upcoming wedding--literally.

That is great, good AND wonderful! I can't wait to get married!! You are very lucky. You BETTER post wedding pictures!! I love wedding pictures... so do it? That way I can be happy and see how happy you two look and how beautiful the whole thing is...and that's it.

i have heard of both the gurus :) however, i have long accepted Sai Baba as my guru :)
There are pictures of Sai Baba all around Gurumayi's ashram! The very coolest thing about being initiated by Gurumayi was that I wasn't even looking for a Guru when I met her! I was quite happy learning things through Jesus. I think, whole-heartedly, that Jesus sent me to Gurumayi. She has brought me so much closer to Jesus than I ever could have imagined!!
I must definitely been from India in a previous life. I just love all things Indian: the food, the clothing, the languages, the religions, philosophies. I'm lucky that I teach in a school that has a high Indian population. It's just wonderful. There's actually a first grader named Bhakti! (I taught her older brother Pratik a couple of years ago.)
