The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

the bed. and towel.

6 years I have been with the love of my life.
6 years I have been repeating the same thing “no damp towel on the bed!”

Let`s do some simple maths. Let`s say I repeat this mantra twice a day. After deducting the semester breaks, celebrations, holidays, and days when I simply give up on the male species, we`ll take only half the year, that`s about 183 days.

So, how many times a year?
366 times. Times 6 years?
2196 times I have demanded, advised, begged, shouted, scolded, and what not for my sweeeeeetie pie to hang the damp towel on the towel hanger.

I even moved the lousy hanger next to the bathroom so that he can hang it once he`s done. But has he? Even once?
Has he?
You bet your last penny he hasn`t.

What`s so alluring about the bed and damp towel anyway? Am I missing something that can only be seen by the other gender?

I give up. Yuppidy duppidy doo.

I`m moving the bed.

My boyfriend does the exact same thing! Apparently in my sleepy stupor I manage to kick the damp towels off the bed and mutter something at him...An event he loves to tell me later in the day, and yet still hasn't learned to just keep the towels off the damn bed!
I think its a game for him now.
