The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

life`s update

i`m staying put where i am.
my priorities are clearly defined.

i can`t leave my sweetie and family and stay thousands and thousands of miles away.
alone.
my life revolves around these people.

the idea of going and staying alone in a foreign country had its charm in the beginning, but it soon wore off when i realised the things i`d miss.
and i do not want to miss anything that i have now.
i`m happy :)

my sweetie bought me a digital camera, and i have been clicking away.
i will upload some pictures soon.

below are things i wanted to do over the weekend, but did not:

1. catch up on some much needed sleep.
2. watch a movie.
3. take sis to the rental book store so she can choose her own book to read instead of complaning about my choices.
4. buy a baby hamper for G`s new born baby.
5. buy a gift for J`s baby.
6. redeem Jusco`s gift voucher.
7. buy a few t-shirts and shirts for sweetie.
8. sleep.
9. iron one weeks`s worth of clothes for both sweetie and me.
10. watch CSI NY and CSI Miami.

things i did not plan to do but did over the weekend:

1. washed bathroom.
2. watched desperate housewives.
3. read the comments on my blog (if you noticed, i don`t blog during the weekends).

i pray space shuttle discovery lands safely.

Well, I'm glad that you made a decision. I can't imagine leaving my sweetie and living in another country. Although I think I would always wonder...what if...you know?

My weekend didn't turn out as planned either.

kiki: i perfectly understand the "what if" part :) but, well, that is life, isn`t it. it`s either this or that :p

cheryl: thanks :) and yes, once my mind was made up, it was a huge relief.

Good to hear that you've made a decision you're happy with. That's not easy but I'm sure your family and loved ones appreciate your proximity. Good luck staying happy with that choice.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of career were you thinking about changing too?

My weekends always end up like that too. I rarely get to do all the things I plan on. Oh well.
